platform appliance fix improvement
History now shows who did what. The User column in the dashboard’s Latest History, agent history, and group history views now correctly shows the person who performed each action — for example, who upgraded a package.
- Actions you and your team take are attributed to the user who performed them, instead of showing a blank cell.
- Automatic, agent-reported activity (routine package check-ins and job completions) is now labeled System so the column is never mysteriously empty.
Easier to tell instances and hosts apart.
- The browser tab now shows your organization name, so multiple SysWard tabs or instances are easy to distinguish at a glance.
- Agent details now show the full operating system name and version (e.g. “Ubuntu 22.04 LTS”) instead of just the name.

platform appliance fix improvement
Package upgrades now work for every package. Fixed an issue where clicking Upgrade in the Packages view did nothing for certain packages — most often third-party ones like cloudflared and tailscale.
- The Upgrade button now schedules an upgrade for all packages, and confirms when it does (or shows a clear message if something goes wrong).
- Canceling a scheduled upgrade for those packages works again too.
Faster and more reliable, especially for large fleets. SysWard now uses significantly less memory and stays responsive under heavy load.
- The Packages and Agents views load faster for organizations with many hosts.
- Improved stability when loading large organizations.
- Self-hosted appliances run comfortably in a smaller memory footprint.

platform appliance new improvement
A redesigned SysWard, built for everyone. A top-to-bottom refresh of the web app — cleaner layouts, clearer typography, and a consistent, modern interface across the dashboard, agents, groups, packages, CVEs, and settings.
- Make SysWard yours — pick from four themes: Beacon, Daylight Ops, Midnight, and Sentinel (a high-contrast option), across light and dark. SysWard remembers your choice and can follow your system’s light/dark setting automatically.
- Accessibility, first-class — the entire app now works with screen readers and full keyboard navigation: labelled controls and forms, a skip-to-content link, focus that follows you between pages, and live announcements when tables sort or data updates. Charts include an equivalent data table for screen-reader users.
- Comfort & vision options — color-vision-friendly modes, a reduced-motion setting, and adjustable text size and density, on top of the Sentinel high-contrast theme.
- Refreshed filters, dropdowns, paginators, and table controls so everything feels consistent across the app.
- Fixed button colors so destructive actions like “Delete” clearly stand out from primary ones.
